This project involved designing a beautifully crafted, fully functioning type specimen website to showcase a high-quality typeface while acting as a promotional tool for its foundry. I selected Monument Extended by Pangram Pangram Foundry, a typeface known for its commanding presence, wide proportions, and ability to create bold, contemporary visual statements. Inspired by both the name and form of Monument Extended, the website concept centres around the idea of monumentality- exploring themes of scale, permanence, and strength.
Typography takes centre stage throughout the site. Monument Extended is consistently presented at large scales, allowing users to experience its impact, proportions, and spacing in a way that feels immersive rather than purely informational. Generous white space and restrained colour palettes ensure the focus remains on the type itself.
By combining large-scale typography, architectural-inspired visuals, and interactive features, the website functions both as a practical reference tool and as a promotional platform that reflects Pangram Pangram Foundry’s high-quality, forward-thinking approach to type design.
